Auckland Pride Festival is hosting two community events to give the public an opportunity to share their feedback following on from this year’s festival. Photo thanks to Andrea The community hui are intended as a space for people to share their feedback for the Auckland Pride Board and are a chance to hear about the organisation’s future plans. The Auckland Pride board held community forums leading up to this year’s event and in October Board Member Kirsten Sibbit assured the public that the Board is dedicated to the community and interested in creating a strong relationship. Previously the Auckland Pride Board has been criticised for it's poor communication with the public, an area it has been actively working to strengthen over the past year.
