Auckward Love crowdfunds for series two

Fri 15 Apr 2016 In: New Zealand Daily News View at Wayback

The makers of the Award winning web series, Auckward Love, are crowdfunding to raise enough money to make a second season.   The successful show is co-written by Bruce Mason Award winner Jess Sayer, who plays a lesbian character in the show, and features queer performer, Jess Holly Bates. Auckward Love is a comedy web series that shines a light on what it’s like to be a single 20-something- female in today’s dating game - complete with the trials and tribulations, the fun times and hard, and of course the highs, and the ridiculously ridiculous lows. The season is due to launch in September this year and the money raised will go towards things such as camera and lighting equipment rental, additional support crew and a professional sound mixer. With a target of $15,450 and 21 days to go, at the time of writing the crowdfunding campaign has so far met 43% of its target. Check out the Boosted Campaign here.
