The talented women behind The Offensive Nipple Show have won the Tiki Tour Award following the Wellington Fringe Festival and will see them head to Melbourne to perform.   "It is super marvellous to be given tangible support to take this work to other audiences - theatre is a bit of an unsustainable financial equation, so as small practitioners we rely on boosts like this to get our work to the world stage. Or at least, to Australia," says co-star Jess Holly Bates. Breaking boundaries and talking about why the “hard stuff” shouldn’t be hard at all, The Offensive Nipple Show has just finished a season at Auckland's Basement Theatre following the success of the show at the Wellington Fringe Festival. Performing alongside Bates is Wellington-based Sarah Tucker who she met at last years NZ fringe festival.
