Two Auckland Pride Board members resign

Two members of the Auckland Pride Festival Board have stepped down from their position on the Board.   Outgoing Board members Paul Patton and Vinnie Sykes Vinnie Sykes is stepping down as Co-Chair of the Board, appointed in July, Sykes announced late last year that this would be his only term on the Board as he wishes to focus his energy on supporting his husband, who is facing ongoing health problems. The Board is also farewelling Paul Patton, who had been a member during the 2015 and 2016 events, an experienced strategic PR and brand professional Patton offered his communication skills to the Board. The Auckland Pride Board is comprised of seven members and remaining members include; Shirley Allan, Kirsten Sibbit, Phylesha Brown-Acton, Richard James and Julie Swift.
