(Pic: GayNZ.com/Andrea) Just days after being named NZ's most glbti-family glamorous dog for the second time, Italian greyhound Georgio has followed the path of many gays over the decades and emigrated across the Tasman. Georgio impressed the judges at this year's Woof: The Auckland Pride Dog Show wearing an extravagant lavender and gold collar, while two years ago his formal tuxedo saw him take top honours. Georgio decamped two days ago the company of his best friend, noted Auckland party animal Di Woodhouse who has been a fixture at glbti parties since the heyday of Hero. The pair are off to Queensland 'to spend their retirement years close to family.' Rumours that the svelte Georgio left New Zealand upset after being beaten to the Best Dog In Show award by a bulldog have not been denied.
