Bar owner charged with indecencies on young men

Thu 28 Nov 2002 In: New Zealand Daily News

A 47 year old downtown Auckland bar owner has been charged with drugging and performing indecencies on three young men. The businessman has been granted interim name suppression after his lawyer argued that publicity could harm his business and its 80 employees. The charges relate to events in August and last weekend. In at least one incident the businessman is accused of meeting men in their 20s at his bar, giving them drugs and indecently assaulting them.
