The gay Auckland bar owner charged a week ago with drug and kidnapping charges has had additional charges filed against him by the police. Police have confirmed that the man, who currently has name suppression, now faces a total of 15 charges understood to relate to allegations he picked up young men in his downtown bar, offered them drugs at home and made sexual advances towards them. In total he now faces seven charges of sexual violation by unlawful sexual connection, one charge of attempted sexual violation by unlawful sexual connection, and one charge of kidnapping. He has also been charged with six drug-related offenses, four of supplying a class B controlled drug and two of possession of class B controlled drug.
