The Rocky Horror Picture Show is being re-made with Adam Lambert and Laverne Cox as key cast members. Adam Lambert Adam Lambert who is the openly gay new frontman of Queen has been cast in the upcoming Fox film which is currently in production. Lambert has secured the role originally played by Meat Loaf, the motorcyclist Eddie. “I grew up watching Rocky Horror but could never imagine that I would be part of this new vision,” sys Lambert. “Rocky Horror always made me feel like it was OK to celebrate my weirdness. “Hallelujah, bless my soul! I love that old time rock ‘n’ roll!” LaverneCox Transgender Orange is the New Black star Laverne Cox will play the “sweet transvestite from transsexual, Transylvania”, Dr. Frank-N-Furter. She announced the news on Instagram and says. “I am so excited that the news is out. I am so honored to be a part of the Rocky Horror legacy. #DontDreamItBeIt #TransIsBeautiful”. The original Dr. Frank-N-Furter, Tim Curry, will now be the narrator of the film. Emerging actor, Staz Nair, will be playing the very buff Rocky. The Rocky Horror Picture show original screenplay and musical was written by New Zealand’s own Richard O’Brien.
