Neleema (Nemo) Craig Grave fears are held for the well-being of a young lesbian woman who several years ago became a fixture of the Auckland glbti scene. Photographer Neleema Craig, also known as Nemo, frequently photographed gay community events, especially for GayNZ.com, and became involved with gay community organisations after coming out. Understood to have left for Australia several years ago she had recently moved to the Auckland suburb of Ellerslie after a time in Grey Lynn. Friends are concerned for her whereabouts after she was in contact with them through Facebook last night in a fragile state. Nemo is Indian, 24 years old and is 157cm high. Auckland police are asking for anyone who might know her whereabouts or is in contact with her to call them on 111. Or anonymous information can be passed through the police Crimestoppers number, 0800 555 111.
