The World AIDS Day street collection figures have been calculated and the amount raised this year comes in at just over $24,000, the lowest it has been in three years. Mentioning terrible weather in Wellington on collection day and a smaller turn out in some provincial centres as reasons for the drop in donations, the NZAF say they are thankful for the effort put in by many around the country. Last year the collections raised $30,120, up from the 2013 total raised of $26,000.
