No Pride in Prisons share support for protesters

Fri 20 Nov 2015 In: New Zealand Daily News

No Pride in Prison’s say they are unsure who is responsible for the red paint thrown at the Correction Minister’s Office on Wednesday night but say: “We support their kōrero.” “We hope that the minister will see this as an expression of the grief and anger that his refusal to take action to end violence against trans women in his custody causes our community,” say the group. As yet, no-one has come forward to claim responsibility for the protest.
