The second of the Auckland Pride Festival's community forums will be held tomorrow evening, giving glbti people an opportunity to air their views on the purpose and content of the annual event. Auckland Pride has come in for considerable criticism in the past for not communicating with the glbti communities or being representative enough of the full diversity of the communities. "These information-sharing sessions will be an opportunity for the community to learn more about the inner-workings of the festival, sign up for volunteer duty as well as offering feedback and suggestions for the future," Auckland Pride says. The two-hour forum kicks off at 2pm tomorrow afternoon at Studio One Toi Tu on Ponsonby Road and is open to the public.
