LGBT advocate Dan Savage will be delivering a keynote speech at the University of Otago tomorrow as part of a three day event celebrating sex-related research. Founder of the It’s Get Better Project, Savage will be the keynote speaker for the event consisting of three panels; ‘Weird Sex in the Animal Kingdom’, ‘Gay, Straight and In-Between: The Science of Sexual Orientation’ and ‘Sex in Otago’. The event, ScienceTeller, is a biennial science festival run by the Centre for Science Communication at the University of Otago. Savage currently is the author of sex-advice column ‘Savage Love’ which appears in more than 50 papers across the US.
