Man charged with poisoning 4 men he met on Grindr

A British man has been charged with the murder of four young gay men who it is believed he met on Grindr. Stephen Port East London man, Stephen Port, was charged with the murder of the four men, aged between 21 and 25 who all died of poisoning between June 2014 and September 2015. Port was taken into custody on 18 October charged with ‘administering a poison with intent to endanger life or inflict grievous bodily harm’. The latest victim 25 year old Jack Taylor, was found near the churchyard of St Margaret’s Church in Barking on 14 September. The bodies of Anthony Patrick Walgate, Gabriel Kovari and Daniel Whitworth were also all found near the same churchyard at different periods over the last year. Port is a special needs teacher at Westminster Kingsway College in King’s Cross and is said to have used GHB to poison his victims.
