Trial of murder-accused teens delayed

Thu 15 Oct 2015 In: New Zealand Daily News

The trial for the two teenagers accused of murdering Auckland man Ihaia Gillman-Harris has been delayed until next year. Beauen Wallace-Loretz and Leonard Nattrass-Berquist are accused of murdering Gillman-Harris and robbing him of cash, a cell phone, a bank card and his car. The 54-year-old was injured in an Epsom motel room on 27 December and later died in hospital. After a hearing which took place yesterday at the High Court in Auckland, Justice Graham Lang ruled the trial could not proceed, the reasons for his decision have been suppressed.
