Motel murder-accused teen denied bail

Beauen Wallace-Loretz One of the teenagers accused of murdering a gay Auckland man at a motel will remain behind bars until he stands trial. NZME reports 17-year-old Beauen Wallace-Loretz had an application for electronic bail denied at the High Court in Auckland this morning. He's alleged to have taken off from his bail address after cutting his electronic anklet in March. He and Leonard Nattrass-Berquist, 18, are accused of murdering of 54-year-old Ihaia Gillman-Harris at the Ascot Epsom Motel in December. They will stand trial in November.
