Vester Lee Flanagan, aka Bryce Williams An ex-journalist who shot a reporter and cameraman on live TV in the USA before himself dying alone in a car several hours later had complained of anti-gay harassment. Vester Lee Flanagan, who used the name Bryce Williams in his work, who had been dismissed from the TV station previously for argumentative behaviour and poor reporting and broadcast skills, filmed himself approaching then shooting live broadcast camera operator Adam Ward, reporter Alison Parker, and the woman being interviewed, Vicki Gardner. Ward and Parker died in the execution-style attack, Gardner survived with serious injuries. "Flannagan "says he has suffered racial discrimination, sexual harassment and bullying at work," ABC News reports. "He says he has been attacked by black men and white females. ... He talks about how he was attacked for being a gay, black man." He posted his video of the killing on the internet, issued a manifesto linking his claims of discrimination to recent racially contentious shootings in the USA and died of what is understood to be a self-inflicted gun wound sustained in a rental car he had used to flee the Maryland scene of the shootings. In his social media accounts he described himself as being a model and having been "a high paid 'companion.'"
