A 16-year-old girl has critical injuries after being stabbed in the frenzied attack at Jerusalem's Pride march. Yishai Shlissel was quickly detained by police The girl is stable at Shaare Zedek hospital, but doctors say her life still remains in danger. NRG news reports friends and teachers of the girl are at the hospital supporting her family. One of her teachers says she is “a student who excels at everything she does, who helps others.” The teenager was was among six people attacked at random by an ultra-Orthodox Jew. Yishai Shlissel was released from jail just three weeks ago, after having served his sentence for a similar attack in 2005, which left three Pride marchers wounded. Since his release he'd posted a letter on the internet speaking of the "abomination" of a Gay Pride parade in Jerusalem. He also told a radio station 10 days ago that "the fight continues against those who defile" God. It's emerged his name and photo were included in an intelligence report provided to police on "possible troublemakers" ahead of the march. Jerusalem police chief Moshe Edri has told media that while police were aware that Schlissel had been released, they did not have any concrete information that he was planning another attack. In all, four of the six people who were stabbed remain in hospital.
