Anti-gay Kenyans may keep clothes on

Thu 23 Jul 2015 In: International News View at Wayback

Barack Obama Homophobic Kenyans have suspended plans for a naked march greeting US President Barack Obama, but warn it could still go ahead if he raises gay rights issues. The Republican Liberty Party had asked around 5,000 men and women to march naked as a “protest over Obama’s open and aggressive support for homosexuality.” Party leader Vincent Kidala believes gay people do not “have human rights” and “deserve to be stoned or hanged.” He thinks seeing “the different [sic] between a man and a woman” might somehow help Obama be less gay-friendly. Because not enough women were interested, the party got female prostitutes on board, saying they were happy to march naked for free because they fear losing their client base should gay sex be legalised. The party is standing down after the Kenyan Government stated it’s not planning to discuss gay rights with Obama. However the White House has stated Obama will raise lgbti rights. Kidala says the protesters and prostitutes remain on stand-by, should that happen.
