Former world tennis number one Amelie Mauresmo has taken to Twitter to announce some happy baby news. “Baby will be here in august! #pregnant So happy”, she has posted on Twitter in both English and French. The 2006 Australian Open and Wimbledon winning Frenchwoman came out as lesbian when she was 19, after making the final of the Australian Open in 1999, success she attributed to coming to terms with her sexuality and finding love. Mauresmo is now coach to one of the top men’s players, Andy Murray. She is to be inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in July in Newport, Rhode Island.
