Dolce and Gabbana A row has broken out over same-sex parenting with Sir Elton John saying he will snub international fashion celebs Dolce and Gabbana after the pair slammed non-traditional families. Gay Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefan Gabbana, who were a couple until they split up in 2005, have told an Italian magazine: "We oppose gay adoptions. The only family is the traditional one... No chemical offsprings and rented uterus: life has a natural flow, there are things that should not be changed.” They have called same-sex parenting "a fad" and "children of chemistry, synthetic children... semen chosen from a catalog.” Music megastar Sir Elton has slammed the pair. "How dare you refer to my beautiful children as ‘synthetic’. And shame on you for wagging your judgemental little fingers at IVF – a miracle that has allowed legions of loving people, both straight and gay, to fulfill their dream of having children." “Your archaic thinking is out of step with the times, just like your fashions. I shall never wear Dolce and Gabbana ever again. #BoycottDolceGabbana”
