Wed 11 Mar 2015 In: New Zealand Daily News View at Wayback View at NDHA

The New Zealand Falcons are holding a muster for new and returning players at Auckland’s Okahu Bay this Saturday. The Falcons took out the Bingham Bowl last year "The annual muster marks the start of the rugby season and is a chance for new players, as well as supporters to come along for a BBQ, some fun games and to find out more information about how they can be involved with the NZ Falcons in 2015,” says team captain Jeremy Brankin. “It is an exciting year with the Purchas Cup coming to Auckland at the start of September, which will see the three gay and inclusive Australian teams come across to compete for the silverware.” The Falcons formed in 2013 and went on to win the Bingham Bowl at the gay equivalent of the Rugby World Cup, the Bingham Cup, in Sydney last year. The muster is being held at Okahu Bay from 11am till 3pm on Saturday. RSVP via Facebook here
