Wellington's Out in the Park has been postponed till Sunday due to forecast stormy weather. Organisers say it would not be safe to hold the fair tomorrow. Out in the Park will now begin at 10am on Sunday with a 'Love Parade' from its old home at Civic Square to its new home at Waitangi Park, where there will be an official opening ceremony at 11am. The Love Parade will be led by 'Parade Goddesses Dana de Milo, Georgina Beyer, Amanduh la Whore, Lilly Loud Mouth and Fifi Fobulous, representing different eras in Wellington's lgbti community. Out in the Park will have two stages, packed with entertainment. The main stage is being MC'd by Buffy and Bimbo and entertainment will range from stand up comedy, to drag, cabaret and games. Headliners The Johnnys will take the stage at 2PM. The second stage, supported by LYC, will feature a range of acts, including slam poets. Full schedule here Local bar owners Scotty and Mal Vaughan will host the inaugural Pooches in the Park Dog Show. Categories will include Best Bitch and Best Dressed, with an owner and dog look-a-like competition also on the cards. There will also be the traditional stalls.
