Teens to face trial over gay man's death

Beauen Wallace-Loretz and Leonard Nattrass-Berquist Two teenagers charged with murdering gay Auckland man Ihaia Gillman-Harris have entered not guilty pleas. Beauen Wallace-Loretz and Leonard Nattrass-Berquist, both 17, will now face trial at the High Court in Auckland in November. They are also facing aggravated robbery charges. The teenagers remain on electronic bail with 24-hour curfews. Gillman-Harris, 54, was injured in an Epsom motel room on 27 December and later died in hospital. While not well-known on Auckland's gay scene, he was a semi-regular visitor to K' Rd's Family Bar.
