An estimated 1,900 women will sail to New Zealand next month on an Olivia cruise. The lesbian travel company is marking its 25th anniversary with its first ever trip downunder, which will feature on board entertainment from Olivia Newton John, DJ Ruby Rose and the Topp Twins. The MS Oosterdam will be chartered specifically for a 12-day trip from Australia to New Zealand. It will leave from Sydney on 13 February, arriving at Fiordland National Park for scenic cruising on 18 February. The ship will pull into Port Chalmers in Dunedin on 19 February, Akaroa the following day and Wellington on 21 February. It will then travel on to Tauranga before its ultimate destination of Auckland on 24 February. More information here Olivia is the only company in the world offering cruises catering just to lesbians. The Atlantic gay cruise to Sydney Mardi Gras, meanwhile, leaves Auckland on 24 February. Auckland Pride Festival runs from 7 February to 1 March.
