A gay South African stock image model says a pro ‘ex-gay’ group used his image twice, pretending it was twins, in trying to claim nobody could be born gay. The group called “Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays” used the images in a billboard in the US state of Virgina which asserts: “Identical twins. One gay, one not. We believe twins research studies show NOBODY IS BORN GAY”: It actually uses two pictures of one man, who is gay and does not have a twin. That man is model is Kyle Roux, who has told NBC: “I was obviously quite shocked, so that why I decided to send you guys an email saying hey, I’m that guy in that billboard. “It just seems like there no place in today’s world for an organisation that is promoting this as being some kind of deviant or distasteful lifestyle, because I’ve lived my life openly gay and happy for my entire life.” The anti-gay group still claims the issue isn’t the photo on the billboard, but “the actual science”.
