RainbowYOUTH is looking for a new staff member to take up the expanded role of National Fundraising Manager. Current Fundraising Coordinator Paul Stevens is moving on to become a teacher after finishing his studies. RainbowYOUTH General Manager of Duncan Matthews says Stevens has been a been a key driver in the organisation’s growth, allowing it to keep doing its work over the past 18 months. “I am very sorry to see him go, and he will be missed around the centre,” Mathews says. “We wish Paul all the best for his future, as he follows his dream of becoming a teacher.” Stevens says it’s bittersweet to be leaving, especially after such a period of growth and transition. “I have deeply valued being part of such a vibrant and passionate community of people - staff, board, interns, and RainbowYOUTH members included. “With so many lifelong friendships created, and a commitment to stay involved with this incredible organisation, I see this as more of a new beginning than an ending, and I have every faith that Duncan and the team will continue taking R RainbowYOUTH to new and ever greater heights." The new National Fundraising Manager will expand on Stevens’ success in gaining financial support for RainbowYOUTH by focusing on collaborative opportunities with other community organisations and building a team of volunteers. They will also look at national level funding to work towards RainbowYOUTH’s strategic goal of developing and expanding their services across the country.
