Mon 24 Nov 2014 In: New Zealand Daily News View at Wayback

Picture thanks to Kris Ericksen Rainbow Wellington is paying tribute to former member and marriage equality campaigner Jeremy Green, who died suddenly just over a week ago. Jeremy Green was farewelled at a service in Newtown last Tuesday. “It was as big a shock to me as it was for others to hear this sad news,” says Rainbow Wellington Chair Rawa Karetai. “I looked up to Jeremy. I worked alongside him during the marriage equality campaign and remember him being a friendly and helpful chap who offered wise counsel whenever I asked." Green had hoped to set up a trust to provide scholarships for GLBTI youth.
