Christchurch parties with Pride

Tue 28 Oct 2014 In: Our Communities View at NDHA

Labour weekend was filled with sparkle in Christchurch, as 400 people celebrated the "Proud" party run by the Christchurch Pride crew. It featured performances from the divine and fabulous Jordanial, Little Miss Cinnamon and Beverly Strange. There were also a couple of hot new queens floating around, Esther Cee, and Elizabeth Hardon. This shows how Christchurch is growing stronger and the LGBT culture is more social than ever. Christchurch Pride is looking forward to a fun filled celebration within the rainbow community to come. We on the Pride committee love Christchurch and its people with a passion, and are committed to bringing even more events fantastic events including our pride celebration in March 2015, to celebrate "PRIDE" with our city. - Jill Stevens.  Jill Stevens, Christchurch Pride Chair - 28th October 2014
