A look at gay and lesbian memoirs will be held as part of the Waiheke Book Festival this afternoon. Acclaimed writer and film maker Peter Wells will join women’s literature lecturer and memoirist Aorewa McLeod in leading the 'Pink Books' discussion. It will be chaired by Carole Beu from The Women’s Bookshop. The event runs from 4PM-6PM at the Pearl Room at The Oyster Inn today, with the $40 entry price including wine and canapés.
