The opening of the 2014 Pride Parade Registrations are open for both Auckland Pride Festival events and the Gods and Monsters themed Auckland Pride Parade. The Festival has been expanded to three weeks for its third incarnation, running from Saturday 7 February until Sunday 1 March 2015. Organisers say the extra week will accommodate an increasing number of events. Auckland Pride 2015 will open with the Pride Gala on Saturday 7 February, followed by the Big Gay Out the following day. The Auckland Pride Parade will be on Saturday 21 February. Registration forms for the Pride Festival events are here and for the Parade are now available here, with early action advised as space is limited. Anyone wishing to run an event should contact Festival Director Julian Cook before filling out a form. He’s can be emailed via festival@aucklandpridefestival.org.nz The full Auckland Pride Festival 2015 programme will be available in mid-January. However a number of major events have already been confirmed: The Auckland Pride Gala Q Theatre, Queen Street Saturday 7 February, 8pm LYC Big Gay Out Coyle Park, Point Chevalier Sunday 8 February, midday Bear New Zealand Week Sunday 8 – Sunday 15 February Heroic Gardens Festival Saturday 14 – Sunday 15 February Auckland Pride Parade Ponsonby Road Saturday 21 February, 7.30pm PROUD Party Victoria Park Market Complex Saturday 28 February, 9pm
