ASB has become the first bank to be awarded a Rainbow Tick. It’s been working to get itself up to standard since June and Rainbow Tick’s Michael Stevens says reaching the standard reflects the bank’s commitment to being a truly inclusive workplace. “Already well-known for its sponsorship of the NZ Falcons, the ASB is leading the way in showing how a financial institution can support and welcome people from the lgbtii communities,” he says. “The bank’s CEO, Barbara Chapman, has been a powerful sponsor for this work and she has backed up the work of the team involved in this all the way. We are delighted to be able to name ASB as the first bank to get to this standard.”
