Wed 10 Sep 2014 In: International News View at Wayback

Quad-City Times US: Two women who have been together for 72 years have married, holding hands and surrounded by loved ones, at a church in Iowa. Vivian Boyack, 91, and Alice "Nonie" Dubes, 90, say it is never too late for people to write new chapters in their lives. Quad-City Times reports the women met in Yale, Iowa, where they grew up, and moved to Davenport in 1947 and over the decades they’ve travelled extensively. “We’ve had a good time,” Dubes told the paper. Boyack added it takes a lot of love and work to keep a relationship going for 72 years.
