Waiter bares heart in search for man

Thu 4 Sep 2014 In: New Zealand Daily News View at Wayback

An Auckland waiter has served up an appeal on social media in the hope it will help him find a man who clearly made a big impact when he came into the pizzeria where he works. “Three weeks ago I served you pizza and a coffee. And I told you your shoelace was undone,” Rupert Bear says in a Facebook appeal for the man to get in touch. The message is written on a piece of cardboard which the waiter is holding in a picture. “I’m not usually this dorky,” he adds, while asking people to share the message. The exchange happened at il Buco on Vulcan Lane. It was only posted last night and has been shared more than 250 times.
