The Dominion Post has a leaked document showing a demotion, leaving Asenati Lole-Taylor unlikely to return to Parliament. Leader Winston Peters is refusing to comment. Lole-Taylor was accused of ‘a beat up on trans women’ when she attempted to whip up anxiety about the safety of moving trans women into women’s prisons. She’s also continuously railed against street prostitution in Manukau, where many trans sex workers are based.
