The pic which came with Skjellerup's tweet Kiwi Olympian Blake Skjellerup has announced he and boyfriend Saul Carrasco are engaged. “Sunset over #Cleveland with my fiancé,” the speedskater has tweeted from the Gay Games, where he is an ambassador. The couple, who live in New York, are considering getting married in Hawaii. Carrasco is a stylist who runs the fashion and travel blog Trend Styled. Since missing out on the Sochi Olympics by the narrowest of margins, Christchurch-raised Skjellerup has continued advocating against homophobia in sport. He was a torch bearer at the Gay Games Opening Ceremony and will compete in the road cycling.
