Planning is underway for Dunedin Pride 2014. Organisers have had their first meeting and say they have a strong crew of volunteers ready. Dates are yet to be confirmed. Last year Dunedin Pride included a family-friendly community festival and an after party. Currently in Dunedin there are regular queer parties such Glitter Box. Additionally, OUSA Queer Support runs Queerest Tea Party twice year. There are also regular activities, such as walking groups and Lemon Briefcase meetings for local professionals.
