Skot Barnett says some amazing events are already being planned for the new year. The Gay Auckland Business Association's President is heading into the organisation's upcoming AGM expressing excitement about the year ahead. “The team are looking at the celebrations of growth, the learnings of change and the amazing possibilities ahead with our new strategic partners and supporters, and new members right across the range, from students to corporates,” President Skot Barnett says. “We're expecting the 2014/15 year to be as exciting and full of opportunities as this year has been, and are already starting to plan out some amazing events for the new year, so stay tuned.” The GABA AGM will be held at The Empire on 20 August, from 6PM. Barnett has been nominated to be President again, while Heather Carnegie has also been nominated for the role. Roger Hiscock has been put forward as Treasurer, and Ashley Barratt as Secretary. Stuart Angel, Blair Cooper, Toni Duder, Mark Fisher, Sheryl Glasse, Andy Jalfon, Mark Jenkins, Richard Kittelty, Charlotte Lee, Richard Pereira and Jackie Russell-Green have all been nominated for the Executive.
