The lesbian sister of an 11-year-old Auckland boy alleged to have stabbed a classmate with scissors says when she approached the school about concerns he was being bullied, her own relationship was criticised. The New Zealand Herald reports that when the 23-year-old woman was not listened to and told her relationship was “not of God”. It says she has complained to the Ministry of Education about Pacific Christian School in Mangere, saying if it had listened to concerns the stabbing could have been avoided. The woman’s brother allegedly stabbed another student in the head with scissors last Tuesday. The stabbed boy remains in a critical condition in Starship Hospital.
