Police say there are no eyewitnesses to the murder of Yaz’min Shancez, but they are “working to put all the pieces together and find out who did this”. They are reviewing CCTV footage from cameras near the scene. Local media report Shancez was found exactly two years after her sister, Cha’Riah Owens, was found shot to death. Buzzfeed says hundreds of friends, family, and other supporters held a candlelight vigil for Shancez at the city’s Centennial Park on Sunday night.
