Here's our guide to events across Aotearoa to welcome in 2007… so what are you waiting for? Even if you only hit the clubs one night a year, make it this one! Auckland: Tickets are selling well for the biggest gay NYE party in the city – JACK-OFF 2007! There are three floors of entertainment at Galatos, with a HUGE line-up of star appearances. Buckwheat, Roger Perry, Bambi Slut, the Vodaphone Warriors, Paul Rutherford from Frankie goes to Hollywood, the North Shore Pony Club and many more… plus those JACK go-go boys. It's the party everyone's talking about. Lock up your Dads! New Year's Eve is always the busiest night of the year at URGE. It's free entry all night, with DJ's Mauri and Antony will help usher in the New Year. “As usual, all the hottest men will be around,” says Paul – and the night is his birthday bash as well. Plus – don't miss their next ‘underware' party on 2nd January! The oh-so-very-glam DJ Wanda Lamour will count down to the New Year at PINK DOLLAR on Albert Street… and after 4am it's the Pink Sunrise recovery party, with special performances that have to be seen to be believed! Plus there's a sophisticated (but still free!) party at WITCH on Ponsonby Road. “Happy camp New Yeah's Eve,” says that insane dragolicious diva Miss Ribena… she's pulling out all the stops at FAMILY on New Year's Eve. The rumours are true - she's gonna throw $1,000 into the dancefloor crowd, and feature shows from all the K' Road superclub's award-winning drag queens throughout the night. Hamilton: There's a free glass of champers on your arrival at GLAMZ! New Year's Eve party – doors open at 7pm (only $5 cover charge and free nibbles too).
