Christchurch readies for return of Out Takes

Out Takes will be at Hollywood 3 in Sumner Queer film festival Out Takes returns to Christchurch this week, for the first time since the city’s devastating earthquakes. Sumner's landmark Hollywood 3 Cinema will host four days of films, from Thursday to Sunday. Port Hills MP Ruth Dyson will open the event at a gala evening on Thursday night. Opening night films will be teen comedy GBF and lesbian comedy Heterosexual Jill. There will be a dozen screening sessions, and organisers say they have been selected to appeal to a broad audience. Avid Christchurch filmgoers, both gay and straight, are welcome to attend. Buy tickets here
