Carmen's unveiling to be held next month

Mon 12 May 2014 In: New Zealand Daily News

After lengthy delays, the date has been set for Carmen Rupe’s unveiling. It will be held at her burial plot on the Maori Lawn of Sydney’s Rookwood Cemetery on 7 June, from 10.30AM: It’s been organised in consultation with the Rupe family in New Zealand, along with close friends Carmen. Organisers Robin Waerea and Jurgen Hoffman say it’s been two and a half years since the passing of their dear friend and the long delays are well and truly over. They say they are getting very close to fulfilling all of Carmen’s wishes so that she may rest in peace. The pair has thanked “the many old and new friends, on both sides of the Tasman, for their steadfast support, especially through the challenging times”.
