Man in bunny suit stabs ex's boyfriend

Fri 25 Apr 2014 In: International News

Mark Pritchard A jealous British man has dressed up in a bunny costume and stabbed his ex’s new boyfriend. Mark Pritchard, 46, arrived at the home of his former boyfriend Lee Corbin in Bristol, wearing a bunny head, in October last year. He held roses and love letters for his ex’s new boyfriend, Martin Williams, and said he had a ‘special delivery’ from Corbin who was away on holiday. He read out the love letter and persuaded Williams to blindfold himself and wait in bed. Pritchard then knocked him out with a handkerchief covered in chloroform and stabbed him several times with a knife. The Bristol Post says Williams even sent a text to his boyfriend ending the relationship during the ordeal, in an attempt to placate his attacker. After Williams begged for help, Pritchard eventually gave the stabbed man towels to hold against his wounds and fled the scene. He was arrested the same day. Williams suffered two stab wounds to the hip, one to the neck and multiple defensive injuries. Pritchard has pleaded guilty to wounding with intent to cause previous bodily harm and been jailed for eight years and eight months – and issued a restraining order for Corbin and Williams.
