The 18-year-old modelling hopeful competed after temporarily being told she could not take part when she said she was transgender. The organisers changed their minds, and last night she competed in the Battle of the Babes, making it through to the national final. Organisers say she earned her place in the final on merit. The national final is on 3 May.
