Akl parents' group to have first meeting

A new Auckland group for parents and friends of glbti youngsters will have its first meeting tonight. The group has been created by Auckland mum and counselling student Amanda Aarons, who wants to help support other families after her own son came out. The gathering will be at Rainbow-Youth (281 Karangahape Road) from 6.30PM-8.30PM and will run biweekly. It will be private and free. Anyone who wants to get involved or wants more information can also call Amanda Aarons on 021 125 7775
