Jenn and Elizabeth are "still good friends"

Elizabeth Marshall and Jenn Clark Masterchef exes Jenn Clark and Elizabeth Marshall say they’re actually “better friends than ever” after a rocky end to their time on the reality cooking show. The Wellingtonians left the show at what appeared to be breaking point with each other, with Clark remarking “It’s kind of like we came into this in a relationship, and now we’re at the breaking up point. Again.” An ever-emotional Marshall had accused her ex-girlfriend of being more focused on friendships and having a good time in the MasterChef house, than the food. The frosty exit episode led to a storm of criticism of the American-born Marshall on social media, however the women have happily answered questions from fans and critics in a live chat. The cooks have just helped with a fundraiser for Wellington Free Ambulance Marshall and Clark say they are still friends, and have actually been working together on recipes and charity events. “We had lots of laughs together as we all know up times come with down times I am still supporting Elizabeth,” Clark has written. “We are fundraising and helping out in the community as much as we can, and we are still good friends.” As for Marshall’s refusal to accept help from her team in a crucial muti-pair challenge, she says “there's a lot of stuff that happens that isn't shown” and that she was “very apologetic to Jenn and the team for screwing things up. That challenge was totally my fault for screwing up”. Questions about whether Jenn might have found a little romance with another team member during the show, as subtly insinuated by the editing, went unanswered.
