Thu 6 Mar 2014 In: New Zealand Daily News View at Wayback

Murray McCully won't give Craig his electorate East Coast Bays MP Murray McCully is rejecting any talk he's going to let Colin Craig take his seat. The Foreign Minister's told Newstalk ZB he will be standing in the electorate again and will be campaigning as usual. Craig is hoping to be gifted a seat at the election, allowing his Conservative Party to enter Parliament. The homophobic political hopeful has previously told 3 News that as McCully doesn't spend a lot of time in the electorate, he might ask National to bump him to the list and let the Conservatives have a free run. The Conservative Party is polling at an average of two per cent, according to analysis site curiablog, well below the five per cent threshold needed to enter Parliament without an electorate seat.
