HIV+ men invited to new support group

Sat 8 Mar 2014 In: New Zealand Daily News View at Wayback

The New Zealand AIDS Foundation has announced an eight-week facilitated support group for men living with HIV. It will be an opportunity to meet other men living with HIV, hear and share experiences and provide support in a confidential and safe environment. There will be guest speakers, who will bring their perspectives on HIV and ways to enrich and improve day to day life. The group is private and confidential and will be co-facilitated by two professional therapists. While it’s free, space is limited so bookings are essential – as is a full commitment. Details: Each Monday from 31 March – 26 May 2014 (no meeting on Easter Monday) 6:00 – 7:30 pm at NZAF Burnett Centre, 35 Hargreaves Street, College Hill, Ponsonby Email or call to book your place: Steve Berry-Smith, Psychotherapist: Steve.berry-smith@nzaf.org.nz or 093095560 Jane Tuson, Psychotherapist: Jane.Tuson@nzaf.org.nz or 093095560
