Glbti community friend and anti-bullying campaigner Charlotte Dawson has been found dead in her Sydney home. The 47-year-old former model and TV host was known for shows like Australia's Next Top Model and How's Life. A New Zealand-born socialite, she was a friend to Auckland's gay community during her time at home, once even taking the plunge as a judge at the city's Golden Stilletoes. Across the Tasman she twice hosted Foxtel's live Sydney Mardi Gras parade night coverage, and Samesame.com.au reports she's been a long-time public advocate for lgbti causes, including marriage equality and measures to raise awareness of anti-gay schoolyard bullying.
